Each year at Webster University, design students participate in the Graphic Design Showcase. It’s an opportunity to display current portfolios on campus to employers, faculty, and students. While a student in the program, I had the honor of creating a poster and table tents for the event in 2016, which incorporates 40 hand drawn icons.
One year prior, I had the chance to design the table tents for the same event. With a desire to have them function more than just a standard table tent, an encouraging quote was included on the back. Once the event concluded, the participating students had to work together to figure out what the message said.
